Eddie Chavez

Eddie Chavez enters his 5th year with FC Premier as the boys Assistant Director as well as head coach for boys 2005 and 2007 age groups. Chavez currently holds a USSF E License and is also an Assistant Coach at St. John Bosco High School.


Coach Eddie has devoted his efforts to developing players that have a strong work ethic and are always looking to implement the life lessons that soccer provides to their daily lives and into they future.

Leonard Lopez

Coach Lopez grew up playing soccer in Los Alamitos, Long Beach and San Pedro. He attended Servite HS and graduated from Los Alamitos HS. After high school he played two years at Humboldt State University before an injury ended his playing career. He is a graduate of CSULB with a Bachelors degree in History.


While attending Humboldt he began coaching the HSU Women's Club as an assistant coach which played against such colleges as Chico State, Sonoma State, UC Davis, UC Berkley & Stanford. 
After moving back to Los Alamitos he coached at the following schools while coaching club soccer:

6 Years Los Alamitos HS 5 yrs Girls Varsity Head Coach, 1 yr JV Head Coach.

            3 Undefeated League Titles and two CIF Semi-Finalist


3 Years Pacifica HS (Garden Grove) Boys Varsity Head Coach

            2 Undefeated League Titles


2 Years Cypress Junior College - Women's Assistant Coach

            1 Undefeated Orange Empire League Title


Currently, he has a United States Soccer Federation National D license and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Regional Diploma. 

He has coached club soccer for over 25 years and has worked with the following clubs:

USYSA Regional Finalist (Ca-S) GU17, USYSA Regional Champions (Idaho) GU19 and USYSA National Finalist (Florida) GU19

WolfPack SC - Fountain Valley - GU12-GU14  Silver Undefeated League Champions

 Mission Viejo SC - GU11-GU13  CYSA-S State Open Semi-Finalist

 Beach FC - Long Beach - Boys Youth Program Director - BU9-BU11

FC Long Beach - Academy & Youth Program Director - BU8-BU13         

He has won several tournaments including Surf Cup, NHB Cup, Celtic, OC Premier,  Cerritos Memorial, etc.


Has also worked with the Olympic Development Program as an Assistant Coach GU16 & GU19. ODP District (Orange Co.) Head Coach BU12 & BU14.


Many of his players have gone on to receive NCAA Division 1 Scholarships to several Universities in California and throughout the US.  He has also had several players selected for the Cal South State teams, USYSA Regional squads and USYSA National pools including one on the US Women's National Team and one on the US Men's National Team.
